On the basis of their performance in the entrance test, some short-listed candidates will have to give an interview conducted by the institution itself. TIFR Mumbai results of the Nationwide Entrance Examination were declared on 2nd February 2023, and some students were short-listed. Interviews of these short-listed students are to be held from Mar-May 2023. For more details, students can visit the official website.
For final TIFR Mumbai admission, the institute conducts an online entrance test (GS Entrance Exam) followed by an interview of the short-listed candidates. However, if the candidate has a valid GATE score, they can be exempted from the TIFR entrance exam. In case, a student appears for the TIFR Mumbai entrance exam and also submits the GATE score, better performance will be considered for admission.
The TIFR Mumbai application process is easy and can be done both online as well as manually.
For online applications, students can find the link on the official website. Candidates applying for the courses are required to carefully read all the instructions before filling out the form. They cannot register multiple times for the same course while filling out the form. TIFR Mumbai application fee can be paid online via internet banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or Demand Draft. If a student is paying via Demand Draft, then he/she will have to mention the name, reference code, and telephone number behind the DD.
For offline applications, students are required to send a request for an application form. The request for the application form must be made along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

TIFR Mumbai Curriculum is based on teaching students in an application-based manner. The institute offers various Integrated as well as Research courses from various schools. The Tata Institute Fundamental Research placement has options both in the corporate and public sector as well as entrepreneurship. The placement cell conducts TIFR Mumbai placements every year for the final year students. As per the NIRF report, the TIFR Mumbai placement placed 14 post-graduate course students, out of which 12 received a median salary of 3.60 lacs INR per annum. The median salary offered to students after completing a postgraduate 3-year course was 4.80 lacs INR per annum.

IFR Mumbai Ph. D students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000, which is increased to Rs 28,000 after the registration.
Integrated Ph. D students receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 16,000 for the first year. When the performance of the candidate is satisfactory, the fellowship is enhanced to Rs 25,000 per month. After the registration for Ph. D, the fellowship is increased to Rs 28,000 per month.

Hostel: Hostel is a place where we have to stay for not only two or three days we have to live there for some years and I can say that in this hostel I never felt like I'm not in my own house or home my homies are really good supporting and Enviornment is really great and food is so tasty and healthy as well
